These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CaptureMeet (the “Service”), operated by DataHex. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
CaptureMeet sends a recording bot into video meetings you specify, records the meeting, and produces transcripts, summaries, and analytics. Features vary by plan. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Recording laws differ by country and state. In many jurisdictions it is unlawful to record a conversation without the consent of some or all participants.
You are solely responsible for determining whether you may lawfully record a given meeting, for obtaining any consent the law requires, and for informing participants that a recording bot is present. CaptureMeet displays a visible bot participant in the meeting, but this alone does not constitute legal notice or consent in every jurisdiction. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your recording of a meeting.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
You retain all rights to the meetings, recordings, transcripts, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf — including sending it to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train our own models.
The Service depends on third parties, including Recall.ai, Soniox, Google, Amazon Web Services, Stripe, and Microsoft. Your use of connected services such as Google Calendar or YouTube is also governed by those providers’ own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and outages or changes on their side may affect the Service.
Transcripts, summaries, action items, and analytics are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or misattributed speakers. Do not rely on them as a verbatim or authoritative record. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it, particularly for legal, financial, medical, or employment decisions.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe until cancelled. Plan limits — meetings, storage, members, and workspaces — are enforced by the Service. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
We may change pricing on notice to you before the change takes effect.
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that a bot will successfully join any given meeting, or that a recording or transcript will be produced. We may perform maintenance or modify the Service at any time.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaptureMeet and DataHex will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if providing the Service to you becomes commercially unviable. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. See our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion of your data.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
